Ingredients: all purpose flour, salt, instant yeast, almond milk, olive oil · 180 min cook time · 200kcal · ~₩6,900
Ingredients
3.5cups all purpose flour, 1teaspoon salt, 1tablespoon instant yeast, 1cup almond milk, 6tablespoons olive oil, 1개 large egg, 2tablespoons honey, 1적당량 butter
Instructions
1. Mix together three and a half cups of flour, a teaspoon of salt, and a tablespoon of instant yeast in a bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together one cup of warm almond milk (or any milk except rice or coconut milk), four tablespoons of olive oil (or butter), and two tablespoons of honey. Crack in one egg and whisk all the wet ingredients together.
3. Pour the wet ingredients on top of the dry ingredients and mix everything together with a spoon until the flour is well incorporated.
4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the flour to absorb the liquid.
5. Scrape the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for 8 to 10 minutes using a folding motion until it's smooth and stretchy.
6. Place the dough in a well-oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 90 minutes until it doubles in size.
7. Transfer the doubled dough to a floured surface and cut it into about 15 equal pieces.
8. Take each piece of dough, tuck all the sides into the center, pinch it together, and then form it into a ball with your hands, ensuring the seam is at the bottom.
9. Place the formed dough balls, seam-side down, on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover them with saran wrap and let them rest for another 30 minutes until they double in size.
10. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove the saran wrap from the risen rolls.
11. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 13 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
12. As soon as the rolls come out of the oven, brush them with some olive oil to give them a beautiful glisten and allow the oil to absorb perfectly while hot.
13. Serve the dinner rolls warm. You can pull them apart and add butter if desired.
