Korean Fried Chicken Wings

1pound chicken wings, 0.5cup cornstarch, 0.5cup water, 0.5cup flour, 0.25cup hot pepper paste (Gochujang), 1liter oil for frying
Instructions
1. Break down the whole chicken wings into drumettes, flats, and wing tips by cutting through the joints. Discard the wing tips or save them for stock.
2. Prepare the batter by whisking together cornstarch, water, and flour in a bowl.
3. Add the chicken wing pieces to the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
4. Heat oil in a deep pot to the appropriate frying temperature (around 350-375°F or 175-190°C).
5. Fry the wings in two batches. For the first batch, fry for 7 minutes, then remove and let them rest for 5 minutes. Return them to the hot oil for another 7 minutes.
6. Toss the fried wings with the sweet, spicy, and savory Gochujang sauce.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy the crispy Korean fried chicken wings.
