Peanut Butter and Jelly Old-Fashioned

3ounces peanut butter, 10ounces bourbon, 0.25ounces berry liqueur, 1teaspoon simple syrup, to taste ground freeze-dried berries
Instructions
1. Smear peanut butter around the inside bottom half of a mason jar to maximize contact.
2. Add bourbon, seal the jar, and swirl gently without shaking.
3. Let it sit at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours.
4. Put the jar in the freezer for one to three hours until the peanut butter solidifies.
5. Line a fine mesh strainer with a coffee filter and strain the bourbon.
6. Combine two ounces of the peanut butter-washed bourbon, quarter ounce of berry liqueur, and a teaspoon of simple syrup in a glass with ice.
7. Stir with ice for 30 seconds and strain over fresh ice.
8. Optionally rim the glass with ground freeze-dried berries and serve.
