Ingredients
1cup Jasmine Rice, 0.5tsp Vegetable oil, 1cup Water, 2개 Eggs, 3slices Bacon, 1cup Mixed Vegetable, 1.5tbsp Oyster Sauce, 1.5tbsp Soy Sauce, 1.5tsp Dark Soy Sauce, 0.25cup Green onion
Instructions
1. Wash 1 cup of Jasmine rice by rubbing it and rinsing off excess starch until the water is clear. Drain completely.
2. Add 0.5 tsp of vegetable oil to the rice and mix well to keep the grains separate.
3. Pour in 1 cup of water, swirl to even out the rice, and put on the lid. Bring to a boil over high heat.
4. Once boiling, turn the heat to the lowest possible and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. Open the lid and fluff the cooked rice with a spatula. Transfer to a pan, spread it out, cover with plastic wrap, and chill in the fridge for 4 hours or longer.
6. Crack 2 eggs into a bowl and beat them well. Set aside.
7. Cut 3-4 slices of bacon into bite-sized pieces and separate them. Set aside.
8. Add a tiny bit of oil to a carbon steel wok to lubricate the surface. Add the bacon and cook over medium or medium-low heat until golden.
9. Remove excess bacon fat, leaving about 2-3 tablespoons in the wok.
10. Pour in the beaten eggs and slightly brown them. Use a spatula to break them into many pieces.
11. Add 1 cup of mixed vegetables and cook until soft.
12. Turn the heat to high and add the chilled rice. Stir-fry to combine all ingredients.
13. Add 1.5 tbsp of oyster sauce, 1.5 tbsp of soy sauce, and 1.5 tsp of dark soy sauce. Mix until no white rice is visible.
14. Toss in some diced green onion and mix again. Give a final taste before serving to adjust the flavor.
