Ingredients
200g pork, 1큰술 salt, 1큰술 chopped garlic, 2큰술 Gochugaru (red pepper powder), 1큰술 Saewoo jeot (salted shrimp), 1큰술 tuna extract (or Korean fish sauce), 3큰술 Gochujang (red pepper paste), 1.2L water, 1개 coin stock, 1개 Korean zucchini (aehobak), 1개 potatoes, 0.5개 onion, 1줄기 Green onion, 2개 Spicy Korean chili (cheongyang gochu), 0.5모 tofu, 1컵 rice, 100g peas, 3개 eggs, 50g chopped veggies (for egg roll)
Instructions
1. Cut up the Korean zucchini, potatoes, onion, green onion, and spicy Korean chili into large chunks.
2. Fry some pork in a pot.
3. Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic, 2 tablespoons of Gochugaru (red pepper powder), 1 tablespoon of Saewoo jeot (salted shrimp), 1 tablespoon of tuna extract (or Korean fish sauce), and 3 tablespoons of Gochujang (red pepper paste) to the pot with the pork.
4. Add 1.2L of water and a coin stock to the pot and bring to a boil.
5. Prepare pot rice: Combine equal parts soaked rice and water in a pot and boil. Once it starts to boil, reduce heat to low and cook for 12 more minutes.
6. In another pot, boil water with salt and peas for 5 minutes. This helps the peas keep their vibrant green color.
7. Add tofu and the cut vegetables to the boiling stew.
8. Make Gyeran Mari (Korean egg roll): Beat eggs, add tuna extract and chopped veggies. Pour into a pan and roll.
9. When the rice is ready, add the cooked peas to the rice pot and mix well.
