Ingredients: ground beef, kosher salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, shredded cheddar cheese · 30 min cook time · 415kcal · ~₩8,610
Ingredients
Instructions
1. Season 226g of ground beef with kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a few shakes of cayenne pepper. Add 56g of shredded cheddar cheese and gently fold and stir until just mixed.
2. Lay down one piece of lavash bread on a cutting board. Moisten your hands with a little bit of water to prevent the meat from sticking. Transfer the meat mixture onto the lavash bread and spread it out evenly, leaving about an inch uncovered at the top. This thin layer will help give the seam a nice seal.
3. Sprinkle minced green onions over the meat. Start rolling the lavash bread tightly, making sure to get as uniform a log as possible. Finish with the seam at the bottom and give it a little squeeze to fine-tune the shape.
4. Cut the rolled lavash bread exactly in half. Score the center of each half and carefully slice each piece into two, then cut them in half again to get four pieces total. This results in smaller pieces that cook faster.
5. Grab two metal skewers and impale each piece with two skewers, starting the first skewer about a third of the way in from the edge. Ensure the skewers are nicely centered up and down and kept flat. This makes them more secure and easier to turn.
6. Transfer the skewered kabobs onto a foil-lined baking sheet. Brush them with melted butter, starting with the best-looking side facing up. Flip them over and do the same to the other side.
7. Cook the kabobs in a 450°F (232°C) oven for 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, flip them over and broil for another 2-3 minutes, or until they are cooked through and beautifully browned.
8. While the kabobs are cooking, prepare the secret secret sauce. Combine mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup. Stir in buttermilk to give it a ranch-like vibe. Whisk until smooth.
9. Serve the kabobs on a plate covered with your favorite cheeseburger accompaniments like lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onion, and pickles. Drizzle the secret secret sauce over the kabobs.
