No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients: creamy peanut butter, maple syrup, oat flour, bittersweet chocolate chips, creamy peanut butter · 120 min cook time · 250kcal · ~₩15,000
Ingredients
1.5cups creamy peanut butter, 0.5cup maple syrup, 1.5cups oat flour, 1.5cups bittersweet chocolate chips, 0.25cup creamy peanut butter
Instructions
1. Take the maple syrup and pour it right into the peanut butter. Microwave this for 30 seconds to 60 seconds, or use a double boiler, until it's nice and smooth and consistent.
2. Mix the maple syrup and the peanut butter together until it's completely smooth and there are no streaks of maple syrup left over. The maple syrup will help everything hold together and sweeten the recipe naturally.
3. Add the oat flour to the peanut butter mixture. Mix everything very well together until there are no flour streaks left over. It will get tougher to mix as it becomes a dough-like consistency.
4. Line a 9x9 inch pan with parchment paper, ensuring the paper is a little wider than the pan to help with removal. Transfer the peanut butter base to the pan and press it down with the back of a silicone spatula or spoon until it's nice and consistent.
5. Add the bittersweet chocolate chips and the additional 1/4 cup of creamy peanut butter to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat this up in the microwave for 30 seconds to 60 seconds until melted.
6. Mix the melted chocolate and peanut butter together until it's all smooth and consistent, with no chocolate chips or peanut butter streaks visible.
7. Pour the chocolate mixture over the peanut butter base and use the back of the spatula to spread everything out so it's evenly distributed.
8. Place the pan in the fridge for two hours until it sets. You'll know it's set when the chocolate on top gets a little harder and sticks together to everything.
9. Once set, use the parchment paper to lift the bars from the pan to a cutting board. Pull the parchment paper down from all sides and cut the bars into 16 equal squares.
