Ingredients: garlic cloves, green onions, soy sauce, gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes), sesame oil · 25 min cook time · 350kcal · ~₩14,000
Ingredients
2개 garlic cloves, 3개 green onions, 3tablespoons soy sauce, 1teaspoon gochugaru (Korean hot pepper flakes), 1tablespoon sesame oil, 1개 onion, 1lb branzino, 0.25teaspoon salt, 1tablespoon olive oil, 1teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
1. Mince two garlic cloves and three green onions (reserving some green onion for garnish).
2. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic and green onion with three tablespoons of soy sauce, one teaspoon of gochugaru, and one tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix well to create the seasoning sauce.
3. Thinly slice one onion and place it in a bowl of cold water to crisp up. This will be used as a garnish later.
4. Preheat your broiler to 500°F (260°C).
5. Take the cleaned branzino (around 1 lb) and make several slits on both sides. Season evenly with 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
6. Brush the branzino with olive oil on both sides.
7. Broil the branzino for 5 minutes. Then, flip it over and broil for another 4-5 minutes. Check for doneness and broil for an additional 1-2 minutes if needed, being careful not to overcook.
8. While the fish is cooking, drain and wash the sliced onion.
9. Once the branzino is cooked, transfer it to a serving plate. Drizzle the prepared seasoning sauce over the fish.
10. Garnish with the drained sliced onion, reserved green onion, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
