Pan-Fried Gnocchi
Ingredients: Gnocchi, Oil, Cumin Lamb, Celery, Cilantro · 20 min cook time · 685kcal · ~₩6,000
Ingredients
500g Gnocchi, 6tablespoons Oil, 1serving Cumin Lamb, 1stalk Celery, 1bunch Cilantro, 1medium Onions, 100g Sauerkraut, 1sprig Dill, 1dollop Sour cream
Instructions
1. Start with a cold skillet. Spread the gnocchi in an even layer to ensure they all make contact with the pan and can brown.
2. Drizzle plenty of oil on top. The oil will seep underneath the gnocchi and thoroughly cover the skillet.
3. Turn on the heat and leave the gnocchi untouched for 5 to 8 minutes, focusing on browning just one side.
4. After the first side develops deep browning, stir the gnocchi for another minute or two to finish the cook. The golden side will be crunchy, while the second side will retain some moisture and chew for the perfect contrast in textures.
5. Serve the gnocchi as a whole meal, like this cumin lamb version with celery and cilantro, or a pierogi-inspired combo with buttery onions and sauerkraut.
