Cranberry Aperol Spritz

1cup fresh cranberries, to taste water, to taste sugar, to taste Aperol, to taste Prosecco
Instructions
1. Combine fresh or frozen cranberries, a little bit of water, and sugar in a saucepan and cook down on the stovetop until cranberries start to burst.
2. Use a potato masher to break down the cranberries and release the juices, then strain through cheesecloth.
3. Stir in Aperol and let chill in the fridge until ready to serve.
4. To serve, add the cranberry and Aperol mixture to a glass with ice, top off with Prosecco, and garnish with fresh cranberries.
