Bok Choy Soup with Pork

1lb bok choy, 5oz pork chops, 5cups hot water, 14oz chicken broth, 3slices ginger, 1tsp oil, 1tsp salt, 1tsp cornstarch, 1tsp oyster sauce, 1tbsp water for marinade, 1tsp chicken bouillon powder
Instructions
1. Cut fatty parts from 5 oz pork chops, then slice across the grain horizontally.
2. Marinate the pork with 1 tsp cornstarch, 1 tsp oyster sauce, and 1 tbsp water. Massage for about 30 seconds.
3. Wash bok choy leaves, soak in water for 15-20 minutes, rinse, and cut bigger stalks in half.
4. In a pot, bring 5 cups of hot water and a 14 oz can of chicken broth to a boil on high heat.
5. Add 3-4 slices of ginger, 1 tsp of oil, and 1 tsp of salt to the boiling soup.
6. Add the bok choy stalks first, then the leaves. Cover and boil for 3-5 minutes until the soup returns to a gentle boil.
7. Add the marinated pork slices and 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the pork is ready.
8. Serve the bok choy soup with pork.
