Ingredients: unsalted butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, granulated sugar, large room temperature eggs, vanilla · 70 min cook time · 450kcal · ~₩14,600
Ingredients
226g unsalted butter, 75g unsweetened cocoa powder, 400g granulated sugar, 3개 large room temperature eggs, 1tbsp vanilla, 1tsp salt, 120g flour, 270g chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. In a large bowl, melt 1 cup (226g) of unsalted butter in 20-second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.
3. Add 3/4 cup (75g) of unsweetened cocoa powder to the melted butter and mix well. The warm butter will help release the chocolate flavor.
4. Add 2 cups (400g) of granulated sugar to the mixture. Whisk vigorously until the sugar is dissolved to achieve a shiny, crackly top on the brownies. An electric mixer can be used for this step.
5. Add 3 large room temperature eggs, 1 tablespoon of vanilla, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the mixture. Mix thoroughly.
6. Add 1 cup (120g) of flour to the batter. Gently fold until just combined and the flour disappears. Do not overmix.
7. Fold in 1 1/2 cups (270g) of chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
8. Prepare an 8x8-inch baking tin by lining it with parchment paper, using a light spray to help it adhere.
9. Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking tin and spread it into an even layer using an offset spatula.
10. Bake for 35 minutes for fudgy, gooey brownies, 45 minutes for slightly drier but still fudgy brownies, or 55 minutes for fully set brownies.
11. Once baked, let the brownies cool before cutting into desired size pieces.
