Banana Bread

3ea ripe bananas, 2cups all-purpose flour, 1pinch salt, 1tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, 0.5cup butter, 1cup white granulated sugar, 2ea eggs, 1splash vanilla, 1splash milk, 0.5cup chopped walnuts, 0.5cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Peel three ripe bananas and mash them in a bowl using a potato masher until smooth.
2. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a separate bowl to combine.
3. Cream the room temperature soft butter and white granulated sugar together until light and creamy.
4. Add the mashed banana mixture into the butter and sugar and stir until combined.
5. Whip in the two eggs one at a time, followed by a splash of vanilla and a splash of milk.
6. Fold in the chopped walnuts, dark chocolate chips, and the flour mixture until the flour is just barely integrated.
7. Transfer the batter into a lightly oiled loaf pan and tap the pan down to remove air bubbles.
8. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for an hour to an hour and 10 minutes until a bamboo skewer comes out clean.
9. Let the banana bread sit for 15 to 20 minutes, then unmold from the loaf pan and transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
