1package elbow macaroni, 2tbsp butter, 0.5cup sour cream, 1cup cottage cheese, 2cups sharp cheddar cheese, 1cup smoked gouda, 1cup pepper jack cheese, 1cup fresh mozzarella, 1can canned cheese sauce, 1can evaporated milk, to taste salt, to taste black pepper, 1tsp garlic powder, 1tsp onion powder, 0.5tsp cayenne pepper, 1egg eggs
Instructions
1. Boil and drain large elbow macaroni noodles, then add butter to coat the noodles and prevent them from sticking together.
2. In a large bowl, mix together sour cream, cottage cheese, sharp cheddar, smoked gouda, pepper jack, fresh mozzarella, canned cheese sauce, and evaporated milk.
3. Season the cheese mixture with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper, stirring well until fully incorporated.
4. Add the prepared cheese sauce to the cooked elbow macaroni and stir generously so every single noodle is coated.
5. Whisk up an egg and stir it into the slightly cooled macaroni mixture.
6. Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a pre-greased casserole dish and spread it evenly.
7. Top the dish generously with the remaining mixed cheeses.
8. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil to insulate the heat, help melt down the cheeses, and bake.
