Cutting Board Seasoned Steak
Ingredients: steak, oil, rosemary, garlic, lemon · 15 min cook time · 650kcal · $15.00
Ingredients
1steak steak, 1tbsp oil, 1sprig rosemary, 1clove garlic, 0.5piece lemon, 1pinch coarsely ground pepper, 1pinch salt, 2slivers butter
Instructions
1. Preheat your pan and put nothing but oil on the steak before it goes in the pan.
2. While the steak is cooking, chop up some rosemary, finely grate a small clove of garlic, add lemon juice, a ton of coarsely ground pepper, a few grains of salt, and a couple of slivers of butter directly onto the cutting board.
3. Cook the steak for nine minutes total, flipping as needed.
4. Rest the cooked steak on top of the seasoned cutting board for five minutes so its heat softens the rosemary, melts the butter, and takes the edge off the raw garlic.
5. Cut the steak into thin bite-sized slices and toss them in the pool of flavor augmented beef juice on the board.
