Ingredients
3teaspoons salt, to taste water, 1cup heavy whipping cream, 113g Parmesan cheese, 3cloves garlic, 1pound fettuccine, 113g unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Grab a large pot and add two to three teaspoons of salt. Fill the pot with water and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
2. Measure out one cup of heavy whipping cream and freshly grate one cup or 113 grams of Parmesan cheese.
3. Prepare the garlic using a garlic press to mince the cloves.
4. Add one pound of fettuccine to the boiling water and stir occasionally so it does not stick together.
5. In a large pan, add 113 grams of unsalted butter and place over medium heat until melted.
6. Add the minced garlic into the melted butter and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant, making sure not to burn it.
7. Stir in one cup of cream and cook for about a minute until warm and bubbly.
8. Sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth, making sure to reserve some pasta water in case the sauce gets too thick.
