Ingredients
2.5cup Wheat Flour (atta), 1tsp Sugar, 1tsp Baking Powder, 0.25tsp Baking Soda, 0.5tsp Salt, 0.5cup Curd, 1batch Water, 2tbsp Oil
Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix well.
2. Add curd and mix well into the flour mixture.
3. Add water in batches and knead dough for 5 minutes to form a soft dough.
4. Add oil, knead into a smooth dough, tuck, grease with oil, cover, and rest for 1 hour.
5. After 1 hour, knead slightly, divide into ball-sized portions, dust with wheat flour, and roll gently to uniform thickness.
6. Apply water uniformly on one side of the rolled roti.
7. Place the water side down on a hot tawa and press gently so it sticks to the tawa. Cook for 1 minute.
8. Flip the tawa over the flame to cook uniformly until puffed up.
9. Scrape sides, remove, rub butter, and cut in half to serve.
