110g Cake Flour, 0.5tsp Baking Powder, 1egg Egg, 60g Sugar, 0.5tbsp Vegetable Oil, to taste Frying Oil
Instructions
1. Beat the egg in a bowl, add sugar and thoroughly mix together, then add vegetable oil and mix again.
2. Combine the cake flour and baking powder, then sift the powder into the bowl of egg mixture.
3. Using a paddle, combine the ingredients with a slashing motion. Avoid overmixing, otherwise the soft texture will be lost.
4. Heat the oil to 150°C (302°F), which is a relatively low temperature for deep-frying.
5. Wet your hands with vegetable oil, spoon the dough onto your hand, and shape it into a ball about the size of a ping-pong ball.
6. Gently place the dough pieces into the pot and slowly deep fry them at a low temperature until golden brown.
7. Remove the donuts and place them onto a tray covered with a paper towel to drain excess oil.
