How to Make Madeleines

98g butter, 100g all-purpose flour, 0.25teaspoon baking powder, 2pieces large eggs, 100g granulated sugar, 1teaspoon vanilla, 1teaspoon lemon zest, 1serving powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Melt 7 tablespoons or 98 grams of butter in the microwave or on the stovetop to brown it slightly.
2. Whisk together 100 grams of all-purpose flour and one quarter teaspoon of baking powder.
3. Beat two large room temperature eggs and one half cup of granulated sugar on high for about eight minutes until thick, glossy, and light colored.
4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg mixture.
5. Add optional vanilla and lemon zest if desired.
6. Drizzle in the cooled browned butter and fold it gently until silky and well combined.
7. Cover the batter with plastic wrap touching the surface and chill in the fridge for an hour.
8. Brush your madeleine pan with butter and chill the pan in the freezer.
9. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
10. Scoop almost exactly one tablespoon of batter into each scallop shell of the prepared pan.
11. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 9 to 12 minutes.
12. Cool the madelines and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
