1rack baby back ribs, 2tbsp brown sugar, 1tbsp paprika, 1tsp cayenne pepper, 1tsp garlic powder, 1tsp kosher salt, 1tsp black pepper, 0.5cup ketchup, 0.5cup apricot jam, 1tbsp worcestershire sauce, 1loaf white bread
Instructions
1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs to eliminate toughness.
2. Make the rub by mixing brown sugar, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper.
3. Apply the rub generously to both sides of the ribs.
4. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil, place on a baking tray, and bake in the oven at 300 degrees for one and a half to two hours until falling off the bone.
5. Make the barbecue sauce by whisking together ketchup, apricot jam, and worcestershire sauce.
6. Remove the ribs from the foil, transfer to a baking sheet, and slather a thick layer of barbecue sauce on the top.
7. Broil the ribs for 10 minutes until deeply brown, then rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with white bread and extra sauce.
