Ingredients
1pound Ground chicken, 2tablespoons Mayonnaise, 2tablespoons Onions, 2cloves Garlic, 0.5teaspoon Salt, 0.25teaspoon Black pepper, 0.5teaspoon Paprika, 1tablespoon Fresh parsley, 0.5cup Breadcrumbs, 1tablespoon Olive oil, 4ea Brioche buns, 4leaves Lettuce, 1ea Tomato, 0.5ea Red onion, 2tablespoons Ranch dressing, 1ea Avocado, 0.5cup Cherry tomatoes
Instructions
1. Combine 1 pound of ground chicken, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or vegan mayo), 2 tablespoons of finely minced or grated onions, 2 cloves of pressed or minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, and 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley in a bowl. Mix well.
2. Add 1/2 cup of simple breadcrumbs to the mixture. Mix again until everything is well combined. The breadcrumbs help bind the patties and give them structure.
3. Pour some olive oil onto your hands. Divide the chicken mixture into four equal parts. Form each part into a patty, pressing a thumbprint in the center to prevent bulging during cooking.
4. Refrigerate the formed patties for about 30 minutes to an hour to firm them up. This helps them maintain their shape during grilling.
5. While the chicken burgers are chilling, grill brioche buns on a grill pan (or outdoor grill) until they have beautiful grill marks. Set aside.
6. Cook the chicken patties on a heated grill pan (or outdoor grill) over medium heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
7. Remove the cooked chicken burgers from the grill and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them more flavorful.
8. To assemble a burger, spread mayonnaise on a grilled bun. Place a chicken patty on top, then add lettuce, tomato, and red onion. Close with the top bun.
9. Alternatively, serve the chicken patty on a salad with lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and onions. Drizzle with ranch dressing for a lighter, low-carb meal.
